Training & Certifications:
In order to maintain the highest level of education and professionalism, RJ Inspections, Inc., inspectors are required to attend a minimum of 20 classroom hours of training annually. RJ Inspections, Inc., inspectors have been trained by our own home inspector school. Then each inspector is required to take and pass the Massachusetts home inspectors license exam. This is a rigorous exam which tests the applicant on all aspects of the home inspecting profession. After passing the state test our inspectors are trained in the field along side a Master Inspector. This hands-on training consists of 40-50-hours of class room instruction and 50-100 directly supervised in the field inspections. Upon completion of this phase of training the inspector then moves on to the final phase of training which consists of another 100-200 indirectly supervised inspections. Only then when we feel that the inspector has the knowledge and professional manner we require; we sign his or her ticket and they become a fully licensened Home Inspector. All our inspections meet or exceed the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) standards of practice, so you are assured a competent, professional home inspection.
